About John
John Cammalleri was born in Paterson, New Jersey and attended Rutgers University where he earned undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Accounting, and an MBA in Finance. After spending over thirty years in the corporate world, in the areas of Financial and Supply Chain Management, John took an early retirement at age fifty-five in 2007. Moving to Fort Pierce, Florida with his wife, Evelyn, he decided to pursue a lifelong desire to write. After attending several writing workshops at Indian River State College, he joined the Morningside Writers' Workshop in Port St. Lucie, Florida to hone his craft.
John's first two novels Protecting the Cittern and The Ibex Trophy have received critical acclaim. He is currently working on his third novel. When he's not writing, John enjoys playing with his grandchildren, traveling with his wife, and golfing in Florida's sunshine. He is a Group Leader of the Florida Writers Association and is Vice-President of the Treasure Coast Writers Guild.
